Sister M. Michaeline Hoffmann

Sister M. Michaeline, the former Marcella Hoffmann, was born in Belleville, Illinois, on March 11, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Mary Ripp Hoffmann.  She entered the Congregation on September 7, 1940 and professed her religious vows on October 4, 1943.

On Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 3:40 a.m., as the ambulance attendants were placing Sister Michaeline on their stretcher, Sister Death came quickly and quietly.  Sister had been diagnosed with pneumonia and was on her way to St. John’s Hospital, a trip she would never complete. May she rest in peace.
