Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis

Sister M. Blandine Molitor

✝ Saturday, October 22nd 2016

My time is in God's hands. I can be calm now, calm in God. He gives me security. (Hymnal Gotteslob 818)

Sister M. Blandine, the former Gisela Molitor, was born on August 11, 1943 in Wilhelmshaven. She entered our Congregation on April 3, 1968 and made her first profession of vows on October 28, 1970.

For many years, Sr. M. Blandine assumed duties in the domestic areas of our community. From 1982 to 2004, she lived in St. Francis House in Nordwalde. Here she committed herself additionally in the laundry. Despite her often burdensome life and her long illness, Sister M. Blandine radiated warmth and benevolence. She knew how to take the heights and the depths of her life positively.

In the early morning hours of October 22, 2016 about 3:45 AM God called Sister M. Blandine by name in the presence of some Sisters.
