Sister Donna Marie, née Evelyn Woodson, was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on July 10, 1934. She entered the Congregation on February 11, 1960 and professed her religious vows on September 8, 1962.

Sister Donna Marie graduated from Routt Catholic High School in Jacksonville, Illinois.  Sister received a BS in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in June of 1957 and an MA in Franciscan Studies from Bonaventure University in 1980

In 1983, Sister Donna Marie traveled to India to assist the Indian Sisters of the Congregation. While in India, she had the opportunity to visit personally with Mother Teresa. She stated “one of my most treasured moments was when I met and talked with Mother Teresa three times.”
