See you at the Catholic Day in W\u00fcrzburg!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

At the Catholic Day (“Kirchentag”) in W\u00fcrzburg from May 14\u201317, 2026, the international Congregation of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis will have a booth on the \u201cChurch Mile.\u201d<\/strong> The team of Sisters from the Provinces in Germany, Poland, Japan, and India, as well as the international Generalate, will be supported by staff members from M\u00fcnster.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur goal at the Catholic Day is to represent our international Congregation, and to engage in conversation with many people,\u201d explain General Councilor Sister M. Hiltrud Vacker (back row, 2nd from left) and Sister M. Anyone wishing to visit the Hospital Sisters in W\u00fcrzburg will find them at booth FB-G-07 starting May 14, 2026. The motto of this year\u2019s “Kirchentag” is \u201cHave courage, get up!\u201d Today, the first group of attendants received a blessing for their journey in front of the Motherhouse in M\u00fcnster and set off for W\u00fcrzburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll our Sisters in M\u00fcnster and around the world who are unable to travel to W\u00fcrzburg will be with us in spirit,\u201d the team emphasizes, \u201cand some will also be there visually, on the two roll-up banners that will be on display at our booth.\u201d For example, Sister M. Nichola Truong Thi Hoang Oanh from Vietnam, who has been serving as Provincial Vicaress of the Japanese Province since last October (left), as well as Sister M. Vincentia H\u00fclskamp (with flowers), who joined the Hospital Sisters in 1963, and Sister M. Beatinis Th\u00fcnemann, who recently celebrated the 65th anniversary of her profession in the Motherhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
